Women with Altitude - Supported development for female climbers by Mountaineering Ireland

Women With Altitude - we are offering any females who are going through the training scheme Mountain Leader award or Rock Climbing Instructor award (formerly SPA) theopportunity to log observations days at our Women With Altitude will be held on the 17th – 19th May. If you have any female club members that would be interested can you please get them to complete the attached form and send it back to us.
 
We are also offering four free places*  to women under 25 who believe that they can put their experience from the weekend to good use in their own environment. Includes event registration, accommodation and one activity up to €30 please see the following link to apply: http://www.womenwithaltitude.ie/under-25-bursary The program promises an action-packed weekend for hillwalkers and climbers of all levels, abilities and ages and we would encourage all female club members to join in and develop their skills.

Young Climber camps

There are two Youth Trad Climbing Camps being organised by Mountaineering Ireland for this summer. These three-day outdoor climbing camps are for young climbers who are keen to climb outside on real rock. The climbers will be introduced and helped to develop some of the skills to become competent and confident trad climbers. The skills covered will be tailored to each individual participants age and prior experience.
